Creative writing as a way of recognition
Why do I write?
Why or for what I write. Immediately the chorus of the song comes to me, that says
"and you, you will ask why we sing...
We sing because the river is sounding
And when the river sounds, the river sounds
We sing because the cruel has no name
And instead his destiny has a name
We sing because the child and because everyone
And because some future and because the people
We sing because the survivors
And our dead want us to sing
In short, you can write for everything. To remember the beautiful things we experienced, to remember what we did wrong so as not to walk that footprint again. We can write to tell happy things that gave us a lot of satisfaction or to narrate anguish and put them outside, in a place where they begin to hurt less.
There are also those who write because only by writing it, they can recognize things in their lives or their actions and it is in that act that they can grasp it and take advantage of it. There are also those who write to invent the worlds they would like to inhabit or the terrors that could come so as to avoid them.
The interesting thing is that the world of writing allows for everything. You can be and do whatever it takes and play to see what happens. Among the letters that are spinning words we could be judges, bank employees, queens or beggars. We can play to see what happens to these characters, what lives they have, if they are happy, if someone betrays them and how they respond to that.
I like writing because it is a kind way to put out all that world that inhabits us and to be able to look at it better. In this way we can leave on paper what does not interest us and take for our here and now what we have only known about ourselves by writing.
